Team Building=raw fish!

It turns out we are losing our spare storage next door because we will finally be getting new neighbors.  For the last few years we have been using the lab next door as spare storage but word has come from on high that Dr. Michael Hendzel will finally be moving into the Department.  Dr. Hendzel has been cross appointed with the Dept. of Cell Biology for a while now and wanted to move his lab from the Cross Cancer to Medical Sciences.  The lab has been empty so long we were starting to think no one liked us.

On Friday we decided to try a team building exercise: rearranging things in the lab and moving all the equipment and supplies from the lab next door.  Our own space is now a little cozier but our individual works spaces haven’t really been affected and everything is now in easy reach.  The lab next door is now ready for Dr. Hendzel to move into and we are eager to have some neighbors.  After all the re-arranging Ben decided the lab needed sustenance and took us out for sushi.  Bring on the boats of raw fish!

Apparently we need more team building exercises as we lost Brenda and Azra on the walk to the restaurant.  Or maybe that was just our excuse to convince Ben he needs to take out for food more often….
